This is still more the same post-election blaming of Mitt, as if it was all his personal fault (e.g., bad campaigning strategy) that the Republicans lost.

They just won’t accept that the message was rejected too.

Or maybe he is trying to say that pops would have won easily if he had actually tried to win.
