Had a nice … disputation, shall we say, with a couple of those yahoos on NPR the other day. They really hate it when you call the confederates traitors.

The whole “State’s Rights” argument goes right out the window when you realize the South had no problem with a strong Federal government overriding the laws of Free States protecting runaway slaves.
