Now, now this was the first Klan, the so called good Klan. I’m not kidding about that. That’s seriously how some people tried to act like how the first KKK differed from the second. That the first KKK was just a bunch of pranksters having harmless fun. I mean who hasn’t harassed former slaves and intimated them into not voting?

Around 1920, the Alabama Klans (part of the second wave) formed part of the “progressive” force in state governance. Think on that.
