There is a distressing story unfolding here in Chicagoland about a major suburban high school football program’s long history of team “hazing” that includes acts of sodomy.

Today I heard a caller to sports talk radio suggest that we cannot be surprised by these things as being gay has become so much more acceptable in our society.

Fortunately, host Dan Bernstein cut the caller off and assured him that such idiocy won’t be entertained on his show.

Anyway…that is where we are at. High school students have been abused for a generation, and someone’s immediately reaction was to get on the radio to blame gay people.
