When I was a freshman in HS my brother was a senior. He was one of the cool kids in his own way, so even though he didn’t want to acknowledge me, his friends looked out for me. It really was like “Dazed and Confused.” I was extremely insecure, but I got through it with weed-induced aloofness.

Amazingly, I did not run into maryjane (nor ever saw it) before my mid forties.
