I had lunch with a Trumpster friend yesterday; we don’t discuss Trump but we did have a discussion about corruption (the Chris Collins case) and he did make the fair point that both sides do engage in these financial irregularities. But it is clear that every member of the contemporary GOP and their supporters are loyal only to their party and their dear leader, not to this nation or the best of its heritage. They like the idea of foreign interference in the election if it guarantees their victories.

I am 100% confident that every Trumpster* would have supported Hitler until he started losing the war (*If Hitler’s target were a different group — such as Muslims — so would Jewish Trumpsters). Their enthusiasm for his treatment of immigrants, his racism, his affinity for dictators, and his vitriol toward anyone who fails to worship him demonstrates daily their lack of commitment to democracy and their desire to be ruled by a “strong man”.

on a side note, i put chris collins in a different category than Duncan hunter or even trump

hunter and trump committed political crimes, they are politically corrupt.

if i understand it, collins committed run of the mill insider trading, unrelated to his office.
