Ok, then the issue is how to address that lobby. If it is indeed as malignant a power broker as we all perceive, then what is the remedy? How do we immediately counteract it.

Historically, the Klan was a power-broker in the south. No candidate -mostly on the local levels—advanced without Klan approval-even in the late 60’s. George Wallace is an example. Also JKF needed LBJ on the ticket to carry the south in 60 (not that LBJ had ties to the Klan as far as I know) This is an oversimplification, but it took the Dems a major crash n’ burn before they were able to finally cut ties to the Klan. Do you see that something similar is needed in the GOP (not that it has not already happened) before the Creation lobby is quieted.
