Keep in mind that with simple harassment/ very low level assault you get verdicts like this. There were no injuries to provide evidence of harm. Just a minor scuffle. It is an important reminder that we do pay a high price for our freedom of speech. Like that hate brained bunch that protest at funerals. Or Nazi rallies.

Deliberately offending/provoking people is a pretty piss poor way to make your point, but it’s as legal as it is stupid.

I think the dismissal of the case isn’t as disturbing as the post verdict lecture.
