How’ve you been? I don’t know if I have seen you around here for a while.

Have not been around for quite a while. Work, etc. and limited evening computer time with lots of things competing for those hours.

Work network banned LGF, so I had to go elsewhere for my commenting fix. Was generally hanging out on DK and commenting in the birding and science areas. Getting laid off* has now freed up more computer time during the day.

And my general health is better than two years ago when I went through a minor cancer thing and also had to have a kidney operation.

So current project is finding a cheaper place to live outside the city. Which keeps me busy checking places out and starting to sort things to either dispose of or pack. Sort of energizing to break the rut and simplify possessions.

* - A sort of “don’t cry for me Argentina” thing. I knew it was coming 8 weeks before the last work day. I got a *good* severance package that included an extension on my health insurance. Mid-50s not a good age for job searching, but I have enough resources to muddle through for a few years.
