I liked John Astin as Gomez - I grew up watching The Addams Family on TV reruns - but for me, Raul Julia absolutely nailed it.

Ayep, same here. Watched the series in reruns on Nick at Nite (wasn’t much else to watch at night on 90s-era cable), but remember loving the films when they were in theaters.
