Fundamentally, there is no excuse for the piss poor treatment of one of our longest and strongest allies. All this demonstrates is that the Administration is in far over its head - that there is a huge difference between theory and how one wants it to be / sees it and the way things should be and should operate. One of the major problems with the naivte of the hard left is that they operate almost exclusively inside a box of their own creation based on the theory of how things should work. When it comes to practical implementation - they are lost and clueless.

For the commentators before who raised the valid point about the RNC - remember this - the problem starts when independents and democrats have a significant role in the selection of the Republican party candidate. That is the fundamental breakdown that the RNC has to resolve. That is fixable - the bias and shenanigans from the media cannot be fixed only fought with new and better ideas and better communication to reach the people.

We aren’t even 2 months into this Presidency and the parallels to Carter’s ineptitude are astounding. Without the bs of the media and ‘hope n’change’ - we would be seeing record setting low approval ratings.
