I’ve lived here (Ontario) almost all my life, and the only place I’ve ever heard that alleged pronunciation is South Park Terrence and Phillip episodes.

Heh truth be told it’s hard for me to figure out a Canadian accent. Your accents aren’t as blatant as British and Australian ones. I guess that’s why Americans are able to get away with pretending to be Canadians with some ease since there’s not much work in changing one’s speech patterns unless that person has an extremely regional US accent e.g. south.
