It’s what we’ve come to expect of Obama, that seeming need to make all sides happy, when outside observers know that’s impossible. The bishops aren’t going to be happy unless the status quo is restored.

What are you seeing in that article that’s any different than what the President previously announced? The only thing that stood out to me was a couple sentences on proposals concerning religious self-insurers, something that hadn’t been covered in the President’s statement. The article isn’t really detailed enough for me to really evaluate those propasals though:

The notice calls for third-party administrators including insurers to handle contraceptive coverage for self-insured groups.

Costs would be covered through a range of options unrelated to the employer, including drug rebates, reinsurance credits and multistate insurance plans.
