Can you attach “Ex-” to a phrase? I think you can—nowadays. Ex-(Hot Asian Wife)? “Hot Asian Ex-Wife” strikes me like Francis Drake sailing off to “singe the King’s beard of Spain”. Or “The Knight’s Wife of Bath”.
