Shirer called Hitler’s Weltanschauung a “grotesque hodgepodge concocted by a half-baked, uneducated neurotic”. He could just as easily have been speaking about Trump and his insane ideas.

A friend’s father lived through the Holocaust, and said that this was the way that it started. A buffoon that everyone thought was a joke. Somehow, he and his group of thugs got some power.
