It’s really bugging me in several ways, with improper statistical techniques applied throughout. I get that everyone is sick of social distancing and no one wants to stay home, but isn’t it better to err on the side of caution? This is one of those, “Yeah, the economy is being damaged, but the damage to be done if the predictions are correct is SO MUCH WORSE, and the likelihood of that happening is SO HIGH, that we have no rational choice.”
