Looks like Anonymous’s bullshit is actually a little more harmful this time around. They normally just do DDOS’s, which are aggravating but do nothing long-term. Now they appear to be wiping out databases. The DBs are almost certainly backed up but it’s going to be a big pain int he ass to restore them and, given Sod’s Law, some of them will turn out to not work/not exist because the backups were configured wrong/etc.

I will bet this pushes Israel towards more cyber-security, but they also might hit back. Has it ever really been settled whether Stuxnet originated in Israel or the US?
