Longer than it would take to impeach him. The cabinet could vote to remove him, but Trump could appeal to Congress, where it would take a 2/3 vote in *both* chambers to defeat it. Then I think he could keep appealing.

There are multiple steps involved.
1. Veep and majority of (cabinet) notify that Prez is incapacitated. He is immediately removed from power.
2. President can (immediately if desired) notify that he is NOT incapacitated. The Veep and majority of (cabinet) have four days to disagree (or agree), and on disagreement the clock starts on:
3. Congress has 21 days to vote on whether they think the prez is incapacitated. They need 2/3rds to override the president’s cert, but we’re 14 days from the end of the term.
So Pence + cabinet could effectively sack Trump at this point. It would be messy as fuck, but they can make it stick.
Really the proper way is impeachment, but 25th would work with enough of the correct people behind it.
