My favorite thing to do when sitting next to a person who is scared of flying is to wait until landing. Then, when you can make out the features on the ground, look out the window and say “What the F—- are we doing in (insert any city name you want), we were supposed to go to (insert correct destination city)”. Watch said passenger wig out. Good times.

I was on a flight where the crew played that game.
Just after we landed at Logan Airport (Boston), they said “Welcome to NY” or something like that.
I had been watching and knew very well where we were.
Besides, they actually let me keep the headphones, and I was tuned to the air traffic control channel, so I also knew where we were.
