Lots of negative attacks by parties of all types are like that. I didn’t say that the attacks were ‘on base’, I said that by the standard Decatur Deb spelling out, Barack Obama’s campaign would not have survived those attacks.

It wasn’t really directed at Barack Obama, for that matter. My point was that Republican candidates should be considered disqualified simply because Josh Duggar took a selfie with them. They did not know what he had done and should not be punished for an evil they did not aid.

They didn’t know he was after his sisters. They damn well know he’s an executive flack for an SPLC-identified hate group.
