Re: Guns, I’d just rather have a culture whose response following a Newtown, Columbine, or Virginia Tech isn’t HEY I NEED TO BUY MORE GUNS BECAUSE THEY’RE GOING TO BAN THEM. Maybe if an elected official acutally talks about repealing the 2nd, I’ll take that seriously but I’ll be honest I feel we do need to take a look at the 2nd versus when it was written versus now. The United States is a totally different country from what it was then and equally guns themselves are different than what they wre then but I’ll eave it at that for now lest I exhaust myself.

Nobody is talking about disarming citizens, it is simply about restricting access and increasing transparency of sales and ownership.
