Or “You’ll vote for who we tell you to vote for” or “I’m tired of the lesser evil.” But what I really hate is how their pet candidates are allowed to have bad votes or stances. AM, I know you supported Sanders and I apologize if I offend here but I hated how Bernie got a pass for IMO his poor record on guns, his poor record both voting wise and rhetoric wise on immigrants, and his one vote that was actually a bill he sponsored that many critics called one of the worst environment racism in recent years. That doesn’t mean I think Bernie’s bad FWIW but it does mean I think he had faults too that these types choose to ignore but would pounce on if it was someone they dislike. Really think if Clinton had the NRA’s backing all those years that she’d be allowed to excuse it as “just my state.”

The specific one that gets me is “Bernie voted against the Iraq War.” Even when I was supporting Bernie I knew that argument to be a red herring: Yes he did, but he voted to continue to fund it afterwards.
