I really hate these geographical maps as indicating total population support for a candidate. That how Republicans and Fox overstate the support for their party: what matters is population not geographical area covered (ok — we do have problems relating to the EC, the Senate, and gerrymandering) BUT in principle it’s not the size of the area but the number of people in the area.
