I have a bad feeling that Al Franken is going to end up resigning, and Democrats are going to lose one of their best voices in the resistance against the Trump horror.

We’re in a fight for the very principles of American democracy against a truly vicious opponent. If we force out people like Franken, we’re going to seriously regret it.

If the accusations against him are true, he should face some consequences. But taking him completely out of the game is self-defeating in a really big way while this monstrous administration is in power.

It doesn’t matter to my liberal friends on other sites. A perceived forced kiss and a perceived hand on butt are enough to end his career post haste. I hate it, too. But this is how we get actual anti-women legislation.
