Okay, but King was unarmed and beaten over a long span of time, on video, and the community waited over a year for a jury trial and miscarriage of justice before everything completely went shit. Compared to LA in 1992 this is a completely knee jerk response, the cause almost seems more like an excuse for a population already on a hair trigger, indicative of a frightening zeitgeist.
