Oh, believe me, I feel your pain, C_L…being in the alarm business, we have to deal with the fallout from so-called “summer companies” (mostly unscrupulous and ethically challenged competitors who go out in groups, mostly during the spring and summer, to areas they don’t normally serve, in order to drum up new business). These “summer companies” tend to lie their asses off and misrepresent themselves as a matter of course, scaring and worrying some of our customers, most of whom call us to make sure that the flim-flamsters aren’t with us or just to let us know about them.
