Not to put too fine a point on it, but Trump didn’t win because people in the middle of nowhere didn’t have access to the information. Those places weren’t going to go for Clinton in any case. The voters who swung it for Trump were the folks in places that have cable, and have internet, and who thus had access to all the information they needed. They’re just too stupid to properly evaluate it.

And sure, you could call me elitist, or say my attitude is why Trump won, but really - Trump won because a lot of America is dumb enough to vote for him.

And why wouldn’t people in the red states not vote for Hillary Clinton? A thirty-year bullshit propaganda campaign by the same media outlets.

Not calling you elitist. I will say like it or not square miles matter in our Electoral College system, and what you have to run for is Electoral College votes. It doesn’t matter if Hillary Clinton won by ten million votes or twenty million votes in New York and California. What matters is she lost by the Electoral College vote.

(I would point you at Stonekettle’s latest article on this problem. A whole bunch of folk voted out of fear, and calling them stupid or uninformed is not going to make them vote for your candidate.)
