Initially they attacked Wilson because she’s the one who brought the call to the public’s attention. Now they attack her because most have at least enough functioning neurons in their heads to realize how dumb it is to attack a war widow. But there are those like Walsh who will throw caution to the wind and argue that the widow made herself a target for daring to speak out.

But as the Johnson family considers Rep. Wilson to be a member of their family, attacking Wilson is the same as attacking the other family members.

Hopefully, conservatives are creating enough outrage that it will get both-siderists off the couch and out to vote in the next election.
