I always found the diversity within Jewish culture fascinating. There’s some overlap in the foods and drink of Eastern European Jews and Slavs that I descend from maternally. Potato pancakes and silvovitz come to mind.
I am still trying to figure out the 1.1% Eskimo/Inuit on my DNA results. My sister took the same test and she also got 1% Eskimo/Inuit so it’s not random.
My other results are 92% Ashkenazi and 7% Sephardi/Mizrachi/North African.
