Oh, I loved that Skylark. Vinyl bench seats the size of a sofa. And the fugliest brown paint color imaginable.

I don’t know what he did to the Cavalier before I got it. He was still driving at 88. (Years old, not mph. He rarely went over 40 mph in his later years.)

My mom had a Skylark and my dad had an oldsmobile delta 88 that we used to call the mobster mobile. I guess my parents had a thing for big cars.
