The corruption in Mexico is just so prevalent, everywhere. All of my friends who grew up in Mexico talk about local thugs, petty tyrants.

yes, and the upper classes are exempt from the violence if the keep paying off the right people…the corruption hurts the tiny middle class and literally kills the poor…it has been this way since 1821
