Fun movie, big favorite of mine.

So many good players involved with it: Badham directing, Scheider, Oates, McDowell (who plays a great wild-eyed bad guy)…and the first movie I remember seeing Daniel Stern in (in a more-or-less straight role).

Plus, while the helicopter was mostly just for looks, it had that “it factor”, just like the Apache does; it looked the part.
