If he has a problem with pills, that’s a medical issue. If he lies about drugs and backs the Drug-Prison Complex, that’s a moral issue.

Just as we have more medically uninsured than the rest of the developed world, we have more non-violent drug offenders in our prisons than the rest of the developed world combined. It’s an embarrassment, especially in a country that constantly proclaims its exceptionalism and superior human rights.
