JFC. I get sick of Chicago bashing and I’ve only stepped foot in the city on a layover. I’m so sick of the bashing of it by assholes who have never been there and just want to use it to attack minorities.

I’ve been there, because I used to live nearby for years. It’s not the happiest place on earth, but it’s not like it’s a war-torn post-apocalyptic murder playground. I mean, hell, one time I was there was with about 50 stupid white teenagers on a high school Spanish class field trip, and none of us managed to get shot, so it can’t be as bad as Afghanistan where that happens on a daily basis.
