So this Alec Baldwin interview with Stephanopolous… does not impress me.

The title of the show is “Alec Baldwin Unscripted.” Which I don’t believe for a minute. He’s had six weeks for the best crisis communications team money can buy to write him a script, and he’s actually a pretty good actor. This was a performance.

And the script was written in a way that’s going to come back to bite him when it comes to trial. A whole lot of “not my job to check the gun, not my responsibility, somebody who handed it to me said it was cold and I just believed him”… that’s not going to fly.

he’s the actor. it is definitely not his job to check the gun. he is literally paying somebody to check the gun for him to make sure it is safe.
