Have you seen that commercial where the lady said she woke up from surgery, the doctor looked at her, and said “You have cancer”, then left?
Brings back memories, kind of, because in my case, the doctor was talking to my wife about my chances of survival. He said “very small”, and left.

It sucks being us, but my guess is that you have a whole new perspective on life and dying.

Yes I have …and I turn off any commericals for anything to do with cancer … or any shows on it … I watched more comedy movies when I was sick than you can imagine … my family made me laugh so much and it was hard to laugh with your tongue about two inches thick … my mother mainly took care of me and she was one tough ass woman …she acted tough but I could hear her crying quietly sometimes at night … as hard as it is when it is you …I bet it is twice as hard when it is your child …for me life now is a bonus …I have lived …I just want to stay around for awhile for the kids …and I still watch many many funny movies …so glad you made it too …
