The problem is - i have no idea. I’m in the UK - and all i see of US conservatism (outside this blog…) is Mary Matalin, Michelle Malkin, Pat Buchanan, Hannity, Limbaugh, O’Reilly, Bill Bennet (who is by no means worst)…and good god, is Monica Crowley actually that Shrill?

PJ O Rourke is a different voice - always had a lot of respect for him. I don’t know who else - i really don’t. Even if they are just saying the same thing as Michelle Bachman - it should be atleast someone who doesn’t feel like they are reading off cue cards and clift notes.

Club For Growthers, the Religious Right, the 2nd Amendment Fanatics and the NeoCons have - by turns - decimated thought in the Republican Party if the best they have is Matalin, Crowley, Malkin and Coulter. Boenher is a non-entity and the open townhalls the Republicans have held were car-crashes - and the closed ones were worse.
