What’s Paul Ryan supposed to do? Lie? Mouth pleasantries? He doesn’t think the Dems will move enough on entitlements. That’s not a positive outlook but its not an unrealistic one.

He could learn that Econ 101 =\= Ann Rand’s fantasy world.

He could understand that the single biggest good thing that could happen would be to end the Bush Tax Cut Disaster.

He could understand that the only problem with the stimulus was that it was far too small.

But none of those things will happen because he refuses to see what is happening in the real world.
