I’ve worked for some companies that were very into agile/scrum and micro-tracking every nano-second spent on which project, and project-tracking to within an inch of its life. That much effort going into micro-managing is actually detrimental to productivity, IMO because you end up spending more time on PROJECT MANAGEMENT than on the actual PROJECT. Duh.

Well, we have to find something for the so-called Project Managers to do, don’t we?
