I don’t think taking the side of dictators is going to much help those dismal approval ratings. And since the only thing Trump really cares about is how much people (pretend to) like him… fuck, I wish I could say he wouldn’t be dumb enough to follow through, but no, he’s just that dumb.

I had an epiphany earlier today… Trump is the antithesis of Plato’s philosopher king. Incurious, petty, and too stupid to realize he’s not that smart.

I think deep down he knows he’s not smart, just a carnival barker. Hence the over compensation and attacks. It’s why he was always trying to get in with the NY monied gentry. He knows he’s a 2 bit racist grifter.
