I think it’s fair to at least consider her full resume - education, advocacy etc.

I am truly conflicted on this one, but I obviously defer to yall to know who to elect since I’m not an NYer and I also defer to the general principle that primaries are good and healthy.

I probably have to make the judgement on a case by case basis and let people run. Celebrity can mean so much and so little. All the offices and circumstances are different.

Nixon’s heart is in the right place, I’ll give her that - she’s been in the fight for LGBT rights and supports Planned Parenthood and the DREAM act.

But as Lawhawk pointed out, New York is a very complex place, and with it come very complex issues. It ain’t amateur hour, and she’d likely get chewed up by the career politicians in this state. It’s an office that demands a fair amount of procedural experience.
