You know, it’s pretty ridiculous to say that I’ve been “defending racists” in either of my posts. I never “defended” the EDL; just pointed out that several (very liberal) English friends who have seen them first hand (and, like me, don’t support them, at all, whatsoever) tell me that your whole “every member of the EDL is a violent white-supremacist BNF nazi” meme is simply way off base.

Amazing. I’ve been living here in the UK all this time and had no idea that the EDL was a progressive organisation beloved of liberals.

Newsflash: Liberals - British included - don’t really go for that ‘protect your sacred white culture against the invading Islamo-scum’ stuff.
