Which should make it interesting to see whether grown meat will hold to the scifi prediction, namely that it is nowhere near as appetizing as the real thing because of something unique to raising live animals.

It wouldn’t taste the same I’m sure. As long as it tastes good would count and as form of concentrated protein with reduced environmental impact and efficiency of production.
