There really is a simpler explanation, Chris: The media helped put this monstrosity into office and now is trying to save their collective asses yet again by foisting the blame for such onto the losing candidate. She couldn’t put the “scandal” behind her because hacks like yourself would never allow her to do so, you used it to justify your hatred of her and as an argument for why putting someone like Trump in office was “better” by comparison.

Hell’s bells, if Hillary came out tomorrow and said that losing was entirely her fault because she’d used an email server, the “serious” pundits would still insist she wasn’t contrite enough because she wasn’t volunteering to go to jail over it.
