Could be one of two things.
1. People going into panic mode and topping off to make sure they have fuel.
or (and I really hope this isn’t the case)
2. Scumbags a buying gas (in quantities) to take down to Houston to sell at exorbitant prices. Want 5 gallons of gas? That will be $100.00 (or more dollars) and we keep the jug.

#1 I can understand with the refineries shut down. #2 just makes me sick.
