After listening to the Roy Moore quote on “creating new rights in 1965”, I think it makes sense that he was referring to the Griswold decision. These fundamentalist Christians are as opposed to contraception as they are to abortion. They are all in on the government regulating private consensual behavior between adults, even those who are married to each other.

They really loathe Griswold V Conn. I have seen the discussions on line. That SCOTUS decision is the root of the poisoned tree in their opinion.
