Schumer and the Democrats didn’t make DACA a political football. Republicans did. Democrats didn’t hold CHIP hostage. Republicans did.

Democrats yelling at Democrats is one of the things killing the party. Because yelling them when they are out of power eventually turns to despair, which ultimately leads to Republicans winning.

As for the showdown, you’ve seen the report that shows Red State Democrats are dealing with constituents that will blame the Democrats for the showdown, something like 48 to 36%, right? Is that something to be angry at the Democrats about, or Republicans.
