This shows just how impervious his cult base is to facts, logic, or even self-preservation.

Again, not one dollar or breath should be wasted trying to convert the base. They are a write-off. Everything should be focused on getting out the vote and thwarting Republican suppression.

And the GOP gamble that they could reap the economic benefit of reopening the economy without causing a surge in covid has failed. States are experiencing record shattering growth in new cases.
