Hey, I said they used to be a very positive institution but “used to be’s don’t count anymore”.

It’s funny how the SPLC historical street cred seems to end riiiiiight around the time the Republicans rewrote history to say they always supported the civil rights causes represented by the SPLC. Before that - SPLC was on the GOP side. Now, sadly, they hate America.
