OK, I think (*gasp*) we’re pretty much on the same page here i.e. it is presumptively racist for non-blacks to use the N word unless there is a clear and credible innocent intent.
Two questions, though:
1. Is it possible for a white comedian to use the N word in a way that is so funny and pithy that it would not be considered racist?
2. Is it possible for a black person to use the N word in a racist manner deserving of criticism?
